Warning signs
Signs your sewer line is failing
Sewer lines rarely fail all at once. These usually show up first, and the sooner it's scoped the smaller the repair tends to be.
Sewage backing up
Water coming up in the tub, shower or floor drain, especially when you flush or run the washer.
Clogs that keep coming back
The main line gets cleared and backs up again weeks later. Roots or broken pipe are catching everything.
Sewer smell
A sewage odor inside or in the yard that doesn't go away. Gas is escaping through a crack.
Wet spots or lush grass
A soggy patch or a strip of greener grass over the line. It's leaking into the soil.
Cracks in the slab or walls
A leaking line under the house can wash out soil and let the foundation settle.
Older cast iron or clay
Original sewer pipe in an older home is near the end of its life even before symptoms show.
Repair or replace
The camera decides, not a sales pitch
Every job starts with a sewer camera inspection. You see what we see, and the footage decides how big the fix needs to be.

How a replacement goes
Photos from a sewer line we replaced under a slab home in Lubbock, start to finish.
1Find it on camera
The scope showed split cast iron under the house. This is the pipe once it came out.
2Open the slab
We cut a clean trench only along the line's path, with floors protected around it.
3Lay new PVC
The old cast iron comes out and new PVC goes in, set to the right slope and tested.
4Backfill and patch
We compact the trench and pour new concrete so the slab is solid and ready for flooring.

"Our insurance had initially denied paying any cost of repairs. Thanks to Ashley, office manager, they were able to connect with the insurance company and got them to pay half of the cost… Ashley was also able to get us financing… They were able to get us going in about 2 days."

Will my insurance cover a sewer line repair?
It depends on your policy and what caused the damage. Our office talks to your insurance company with you and sends them what they need from the camera inspection. We've helped customers get claims paid that were first denied.
Do you have to tear up my floors?
On a slab home the line runs under the floor, so we cut a trench along its path and patch the concrete afterward. We only open what we need to, and your plumber walks you through exactly where before any work starts.
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
The camera inspection shows it. If the damage is in one spot we'll recommend a spot repair. If the pipe is failing along its length, patching it just moves the problem down the line.
What kind of pipe do you put in?
New PVC sewer pipe. It doesn't rust or rot like cast iron, and its smooth joints are much harder for roots to get into.
How long does a replacement take?
It depends on the length of the line and whether it runs under the slab or the yard. Your estimate includes a timeline so you can plan around it.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Ask our office about financing when you get your estimate.
